An interest in keyboards and synthesizers led Andy to start learning the piano. Graded exams followed but from the outset he enjoyed composing his own music more than interpreting that of others.

In the 3rd year of his music degree Andy wrote a dissertation on TV theme music, including aspects
of music and mood. During its research he interviewed composers including Howard Goodall & George
Fenton.

 Much of Andy's current compositional work is Production Music for use in all types of media. Broadcast credits from
 around the world have included TV, radio, trailer and advert usage. He is also available for directly commissioned work
 be it music for media or otherwise.

 Evidence of Andy's musical background and wide-ranging influences (from classical to funk and jazz) can be found
 throughout his music. He frequently employs piano and distinctive rhythmic elements (he's also a drummer) alongside an
 emotive use of harmony and melody.
